A Center for Adoption Services -- home
| Dru Martin Groves, M.A. is
the Director of A Center for Adoption Services. She is a registered
counselor with more than 14 years of
experience in the field of adoption and works out
of an office in Bainbridge Island, Washington. Dru has worked extensively with birthmothers making decisions about their unplanned pregnancies and with birthmothers who have placed children many years ago. She works with couples hoping to adopt and with children who were adopted. Dru has training and experience in grief counseling and in adoption reunions. As an adopted child, Dru brings a unique perspective to the adoption process one that places the child's best interests first, but acknowledges this is most often accomplished by accommodating needs and wishes of the adoptive parents and birthparents. |
